FAQ
What is fused glass?
Every piece of artwork is meticulously hand cut with fine coloured glass powders which are layered to give different textures. They are then transferred to the kiln where they are fired at between 720 and 840 degrees for around 24 hours. At these high temperatures the coloured glass powders fuse with the glass background. The higher the temperature the more the artwork full fuses which gives a smooth silk-like finish. When the artwork is fired at a lower temperature it retains a stunning tactile nature.
How will the artwork look in my room?
If for any reason you are not sure what the artwork will look like on your wall – no problem! We offer a free service to help you make the correct judgement on your choice of wall art. All we ask is that you take a digital photo of the room where you would want the artwork to hang. Email the image to our Studio and we will digitally super-impose the artwork directly onto your room image free of charge!
How is the artwork displayed?
Each piece of artwork has a glass and steel wire hanger UV bonded to the rear. Felt pads are also positioned to the rear to give it another dimension off the wall.
